INTRODUCTION

The Czech Republic doesn't have free parking designed for motorcaravans, but has an extensive range of campsites, many of which are quite reasonably priced.

You need a motorway/primary road ticket which can be purchased at the border - I picked a 10 day ticket for 100Kc - there are longer period tickets available.

Fuel and food are very reasonable. Driving in the Czech Republic is fine, although smaller roads are rougher and road signing may not be what you're used to - there aren't often warnings for sharp bends!

Showers, WC, Chem Disp., good restaurant. 240Kc/night, Electricity 80Kc. The locals all seem to cut wood from the forest and start up campfires - not something one sees in the UK! Good stop off to visit this pretty town. CC. (May 2002). tic.gif (1004 bytes)
